If you have something you no longer need, giving it away is quicker than it sounds, and it keeps the item out of landfill.
Write a listing people reply to
Say what it is, its condition, its size and the area you are in. Add a clear photo. Say when it can be collected.
Keep it simple
Ask people to collect, and tell them when it is gone. If several people ask, pick the first who can come at a time that suits you, or whoever is nearest.
Stay safe
Do not share more than your area until you have chosen a collector. Leave items by the door if you would rather not have visitors. Never accept money for something you listed as free.
FreeStufzy lists items that people have posted on other sites. To give something away, post it at a source such as Freegle or Gumtree and it can appear in the feed.
